It’s Time for the 25th Annual New Orleans Wine & Food Experience

The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience has become one of most anticipated culinary events in the country, attracting more 7,000 foodies from around the world. Here you’ll find information about four winning Wine Dinners you can choose from on May 25. This is your chance to learn about the wine and food pairings directly from the vintners and chefs themselves.

Wine Dinners

Bistreaux at Maison Dupuy
1001 Toulouse Street
Cost: $125 (does not include tax and gratuity)

Bistreaux Executive Chef Matt Regan is offering up a luscious Louisiana-inspired menu with wine pairings from Flora Springs and Paul Bologna Wines. The evening will begin with a champagne pass followed by a five-course dinner in the Le Meritage room, overlooking the hotel’s lush courtyard. Entertainment will be provided by the Ted Long Jazz Trio.

Those attending the dinner are invited to stay the night in one of the Maison Dupuy’s distinctive rooms and 13 luxurious suites, each offering first-class amenities and services for just $125 single or double occupancy. Come experience classic, Louisianian dishes with a modern flare from Executive Chef Michael Regua. Expertly paired wines come from the Antica Napa Valley Collection by the Antinori Family Wine Estate.

Brennan’s
417 Royal Street
Cost: $125 (does not include tax and gratuity)

Brennan’s is a fine-dining staple of the French Quarter, where old-world ambiance meets new-world cuisine. Executive Chef Slade Rushing features an outstanding Creole menu with wines harmoniously paired from Grand Cruller Selections.

Tommy’s Cuisine
746 Tchoupitoulas Street
Cost: $95 (does not include tax and gratuity)

Tommy’s knows how to serve a Creole Italian meal with the quintessential New Orleans reverence for fine ingredients and artful combinations. The cuisine will be paired with The Wines of Bastianich Viticoltori Friulani.

Chef Matt Regan invites attendees to stop by The Bistreaux table at the NOWFE Grand Tasting where he will be serving Crispy Hogshead Cheese Seared Scallop with candied Louisiana Citrus, Marcona Almonds, & Hoison.
