Breakfast
For breakfast, head to Café Beignet on Royal Street, where you can get an order of beignets (3 per order) for just $3.99 plus tax and get a free café au lait with your order! Bonus: Get it to-go and take a short stroll to Jackson Square as you enjoy pastries! View their entire menu.
Lunch
After you’ve worked up an appetite strolling through Jackson Square and perusing the French Market, enjoy a leisurely lunch at Bourbon Heat. You’re sure to enjoy tasty food and plenty of atmosphere – we recommend taking advantage of their courtyard. Their lunch menu offers several options for $12 or under.

- · Breaux Bridge Blackened Chicken & Smashed Potatoes: a boneless chicken breast with a Cajun spiced rub on it grilled to perfection. ($11.75)

Dinner
For dinner, you can’t beat Huck Finn’s on Decatur Street just steps from the Mississippi River. The exposed brick and wood add a rustic charm while the food is a perfect combination of Creole and Cajun.

- Alligator Sauce Piquante: Sauteed alligator in a spicy Cajun sauce consisting of tomatoes, poblano chile peppers, sauteed onions, bell peppers and celery. ($16.95)
- Jambalaya "Capt. Drew's Famous Recipe" : Cajun style rice dish prepared with chicken, tasso and grilled andouille sausage. Topped with with fresh green onions and served with French bread. ($13.95)
