New Orleans Oyster Festival, June 1 & 2, 2019

One of our favorite foodie events is the New Orleans Oyster Festival, this year on June 1 & 2. Located in Woldenberg Park next to the Aquarium, this free festival features great food from popular restaurants like Acme Oyster House, Andrea’s, Felix’s, Oceana Grill and Red Fish Grill (see who’s serving what below).

It wouldn’t be a New Orleans festival without music. Come hear Remedy, Feufollet, Cha Wa, Maggie Koerner and Shamarr Allen & The Underdogs. View lineup.

You’ll also enjoy the P& J Shucking Contest and the Acme Oyster House® World Oyster Eating Championship (last river’s winner slurped 33 dozen Louisiana oysters!)

Plus, there will be crafts for sale, including oyster shell jewelry, knives, picture frames, tables, plates, spoons, prints and more.
