'Tis The Season to Let Us Do the Cookin'

If you’re in town this holiday season but aren’t able to make a big feast, don’t fret! Some of our favorite restaurants will be serving up the best holiday gift of all—an incredible meal for you and your family and friends. You do, however, want to look at this list and check it twice because most places require reservations and will fill up early.

Landry's Seafood House – French Quarter and Lakefront

Both the French Quarter and Lakefront locations will be open on Christmas Day. Come celebrate your love of seafood. 

Mambo's – French Quarter

Come celebrate Christmas with a Cajun flare and enjoy a cocktail on the only rooftop balcony on Bourbon! Mambo's is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Make reservations now. 

Oceana Grill – French Quarter 

This popular restaurant on Conti Street is open from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. With hours like that, you might just bump into Santa and his gang getting a gumbo and crab cake fix after a hard night's work. Make reservations now.

Olde NOLA Cookery – French Quarter 

Have yourself a Cajun or Creole Christmas on Bourbon Street at Olde NOLA Cookery. They'll be serving classic New Orleans cuisine from 11 am to 1 am Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Make reservations now.

Tujague's – French Quarter

This beloved centuries-old restaurant is offering a special four-course holiday feast on Christmas Day for just $67 per person. View Christmas Day menu. Make reservations now. Call 504.525.8676.

Bourbon Heat – French Quarter

Spend the night before Christmas on Bourbon Street at Bourbon Heat. They will stick to their regular hours Christmas Eve with dining from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the bar will stay open "till."  And while there will be no dining service on Christmas Day, they will open the bar and nightclub at 6 p.m. and stay open "till."

Cafe Carmo – CBD/Convention Center

This year, Cafe Carmo will be open both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve serving traditional holiday dishes typical to the tropics. This restaurant is a real treat for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. Book at a table at 504.875-4132.
