Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- I cup sugar
- ¾ cup light corn syrup
- 5 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon dark rum (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pecans
- 1 prepared 8-inch pie shell
- Whip cream
- Berries
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Crack 4 eggs.
- Reserve one yolk and brush on crust.
- Combine remaining eggs with all ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into prepared 8-inch pie shell.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes and let cool.
- Slice pie into 8 even slices.
- If desired, top with whip cream and berries.
