Located in the up and coming neighborhood of Bywater is a developing hotspot of New Orleans cuisine. One of the restaurants making this area so exceptional is the Suis Generis. This new restaurant distinguishes itself from traditional restaurants with their menu. Everything on the Suis Generis menu is made from fresh, local meat, produce and seafood. The menu is constantly evolving based on what’s in season and available locally.
The result is a unique dining experience. Suis Generis is small, but eclectic like the neighborhood around it. They are open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. On the weekends, they serve Saturday and Sunday brunch. They are always closed during home Saints games.
