Bistreaux at Maison Dupuy is planning a special dinner and rum pairing on September 12th. Old New Orleans Louisiana rum provided by Celebration Distillation will be paired with the culinary delights of Maison Dupuy's new Executive Chef, Matt Regan. Chef Regan's style can best be described as Creole and Cajun meets American Gulf Coast.
Start the evening with Champagne and a Gingeroo, a New Orleans version of the Dark and Stormy featuring Old New Orleans Crystal Rum, ginger, cayenne and Louisiana sugar cane. Following this will be the four-course meal in Le Meritage which overlooks the charming courtyard. With each course, head distiller, Mike Kelly, will present his handmade suite of rums while explaining the distilling process.
The price for the event is $75 per person which excludes tax and gratuity and it starts at 7pm. Ted Long and Company will be providing music during the dinner and parking is complimentary. For reservations, call 504-648-6113.
Tha Maison Dupuy would like to invite guests to stay the night after the dinner in one of their beautiful rooms or suites for just $95. This includes single or double occupancy and free covered parking. If interested, call local (504) 586-8000 or toll free (800) 535-9177.
