Get Social and Share at the Pelican Bar
The soft glow of the lights, the bustling crowds, the tasty food and the exquisite cocktails—yep, it’s definitely social hour at the Pelican Bar. We were honored to be guests at bar’s new menu launch party Tuesday, August 29.
To set the mood, we were greeted by friendly faces and top notch Riesling (Chateau Ste. Michelle) chilled to perfection. Shortly after, trays of delectable delights began flowing through the room. The theme—things you can share, although we’re not sure you’ll want to!
While everything was absolutely delicious, the Seafood Quesadilla and chicken wings (lemon pepper!) were the clear winners in our mind! (Can we get an order to-go?)
And of course, it wouldn’t be social hour without cocktails, right? The Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita was pure heaven in a glass that we recommend sipping slowly, savoring the fresh taste of the cucumber with just enough punch.
The verdict: Social Hour wins and we’ll be frequenting the Pelican Bar. But we may need you to get your own plate-- we can’t guarantee we’ll share.
