There are so many amazing historical landmarks in the Crescent City including Antoine’s, the oldest family-run restaurant in the country. Over its 174 (almost 175!) years of operation, the restaurant has continually amazed visitors with its fantastic French-creole cuisine and one-of-a-kind historical ambiance. The restaurant creates an unmatched dining experience with 14 unique dining rooms filed with historical charm. While this is one of the most impressive fine dining restaurants in the city, the owners and operators still know how to throw a New Orleans style party!
Last week, Antoine’s hosted its third annual Christmas in July party. Antoine’s puts the event on to thank its loyal customers and the dedicated New Orleanaians who work in the always demanding service industry. As an attendee, I can you tell you, it was a fantastic party! Antoine’s served up some delectable dishes.
To start, they passed out appetizers:
For the main course they served :
And for grand dessert finale, they dished out:
Guests also sipped on some delicious drinks including poinsettia champagne cocktails, mimosas, mango infusion Bacardi cocktails, and Brandy milk punch. It was all smiles while guests danced in their finest Christmas attire. Santa Calus even made an appearance in his traditional Santa Suit sporting his summer sunglasses. Waiters were even able to loosen their bowties (metaphorically of course) while they chatted with guests.
All in all, it was a great event. Thank you Antoine’s for bringing the New Orleans Christmas cheer a little early!
