Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon is a Winner

There are two things everyone in New Orleans loves – great food and great football. Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon on Veterans in Metairie is the perfect place to indulge in both of Louisiana’s favorite pastimes.

You’ll find the walls of this casually cool restaurant covered with sports memorabilia, and a menu loaded with winning recipes named after Bobby’s family and friends. There’s Cam Cam Bam Bam Buffalo Wings, T-Bob’s Seafood Gumbo, Bobby & Deke’s Mardi Gras Pasta, and Buddy D’s Red Beans and Rice.

While not named after anybody special, Cajun Cannon is famous for their “Jazzy” Crab Cake Platter, featuring crab cakes topped with a crawfish mushroom sauce. Their Blackened Redfish Lafourche (pictured above) is a palate pleaser as well. It’s served on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with a crawfish mushroom cream sauce and fried crawfish tails. Cajun Cannon has great seafood platters, po-boys and burgers, too.

On a diet? Choose something under 600 calories from Jojo’s Skinny Menu, inspired by Bobby’s wife. Entrees include Blackened Redfish with mashed potatoes and veggies and Jojo’s Salad with avocado, grilled shrimp, tomatoes and hearts of palm. Salad lovers or anyone on a keto diet will love the "4th & Goal" Rib Roast Salad (pictured above).

Bobby Hebert, the quarterback who led the Saints to their first winning season and playoff performance, has a winning restaurant here, ideal for game day or any day. Parking is easy and reservations aren’t necessary. Take-out and delivery are available, too. Why not score some Cam Cam Bam Bam Buffalo Wings tonight? Visit their website now.
