As everybody knows, you can't keep this city below sea level down for long! For the most part, your favorite restaurants are back open after Ida and welcoming guests. When you come this September, please go off your diet and support our restaurants. A little gumbo never hurt anybody–in fact it will help a whole lot of people. Yeah, you might see some blue roofs when you come down, but you'll also see blue crab on menus from the French Quarter to the Garden District. You might see some recent tree damage, but our old-world Creole restaurants and James Beard Award-winning establishments will BLOW YOU AWAY. So come. Eat! Order dessert. Try everything.
