Treat Yourself To Vincent's Italian Cuisine

February 5 2015 | What's New

On cold, rainy days nothing is better than comfort food. We found that and so much more at Vincent’s Italian Cuisine in Metairie. A hostess greeted us with a warm smile as we entered the elegant establishment. We were promptly led to an adjacent room where shelves with fine wines decorated the walls. We sat in a cozy corner table adorned with white linen and place settings neatly arranged.

At nearby tables, businessmen and women were chatting as we placed our drink orders. We enjoyed delicious fresh baked garlic bread as we poured over the menu. Of course, everything sounded divine! Did I mention Vincent’s is known for using the freshest of ingredients with daily deliveries and no walk-in freezers on site?

After taking a moment to study the menu, we were ready to place our orders: Angel Hair Bordelaise, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, green onions, red & black pepper tossed with angel hair pasta; Spaghetti and Meatballs, baby white veal meatballs in red sauce over angel hair pasta; and Herb Crusted Salmon, topped with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and a buerre blanc sauce served with garlic braised spinach. Each delectable dish perfectly prepared and presented with care.

While the generous portions warranted to-go boxes, we still managed to find room for desert a rich, savory Chocolate Mousse—with three forks!

With our stomachs full and our taste buds quenched, we headed back to the office.

Whether you visit the Metairie location or the one in Uptown on St. Charles, Vincent’s definitely ranks our “must eat” list.
