Sweet Valentines from NOLA Restaurants

February 1 2020 | What's New

Celebrate Valentine's Day in New Orleans with a Spoon.

Roses? Jewelry? A day of beauty at her favorite spa? Guys, we’re going to let you in on a little something. The only thing you really need to give your Valentine this year is a spoon. Take her to one of these New Orleans restaurants this February 14 and then don’t ask her if she wants dessert – ask her which dessert she wants (huge difference). Anyway, here are a few of the ooey-ist and gooey-ist from around town. To make reservations, just click on the links.

Grasshopper Panna Cotta from Tujague's

This dessert was inspired by the iconic Grasshopper cocktail, invented at Tujague's. It was created by Chef Robey in celebration of the cocktail's 100th anniversary last year.  It's served with chocolate mousse and a mint candy. (We all need a mint on Valentine's Day!)

Cherries Jubilee & White Chocolate Bread Pudding from SoBou

Never had Cherries Jubilee? We can’t think of a better time than Valentine’s Day to give it a shot. The house-made vanilla bean ice cream is extra creamy dreamy. Like we said, who needs flowers?

Double Chocolate Bread Pudding from Red Fish Grill

Do we really have to explain to you why this delicious chocolate concoction is a must experience? Look at the picture!!!! Like the Borg say in Star Trek, “Resistance is futile.”

Bananas Foster from Brennan's Restaurant

Thinking of getting engaged this Valentine's Day? Slip a ring into Bananas Foster, a classic New Orleans dessert.

Chantilly Cheesecake from Porter & Luke's

Been good on your New Year's diet so far? You're about to blow it. Porter & Luke's Chantilly Cheesecake is amazing!

Beignet Balls from Coterie NOLA

Delicious and fun to share, just like your life together.
