Restaurant Overview

One of our favorite places to have breakfast for lunch is Daisy Dukes on West Napoleon in Metairie. While, like their slogan says, this restaurant is “Nuttin’ Fancy,” there’s nuttin’ else like it either. For authentic Cajun and Southern food, you’ve come to the right place.

If the all-day breakfast menu is calling to you, you’ll find it hard to pass up the Bananas Foster French Toast. Daisy’s Original Benedict is also fantastic. Get it with crab cakes for a real treat. And the Huevos Rancheros, the Country Fried Steak with Country Gravy, the Ribeye Breakfast, and the Chocolate Chip Pancakes are winners, too.

If you’re in the mood for lunch fare, you won’t be disappointed either. Daisy Dukes’ Famous Wings come in six flavors, and they offer great Oyster Po-boy and Seafood Gumbo as well. Their Homemade Onion Rings are served with remoulade sauce for dipping. Delicious. They also have some awesome platters with fried or grilled seafood. They come with Cajun Fries.

Craving a burger? You’ll have seven to choose from. The Hangover Burger is topped with two eggs, hashbrowns, and cheese. Turns out at Daisy Dukes, you don’t have to choose between lunch and breakfast after all!
