Restaurant Overview
In the heart of the French Quarter, on the 3rd block of Chartres Street, sits an exciting new restaurant where SoBou used to be. Locals and visitors alike are raving about 3rd Block Depot Kitchen + Bar which features Cajun and Creole cuisine by Executive Chef Nick Ocheltree. His creative menu includes choices like Shrimp & Tasso Corndogs, Braised Rabbit Pappardelle, and Peach Cobbler Bread Pudding. They also offer fabulous beignets, both sweet and savory.
Love Sunday brunch? Drop by for their Legs & Eggs Burlesque Brunch with Bella Blue. The brunch menu is an absolute delight with options like Bananas Foster French Toast and Boudin Benedict. It’s lots of fun and don’t hesitate to bring the kids.
Whether you come for brunch, lunch or dinner, cocktails are a big draw at 3rd Block Depot Kitchen + Bar. We recommend the Grand Duchess, a tribute to local legend Chris Owens.
Now open for both indoor and outdoor dining.
