The 2018-2019 concert season begins with Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 ‘Unfinished’. Although Schubert only got halfway through this composition before his death, it is still sometimes considered one of the first Romantic symphonies. The LPO is joined by NOVA Masterworks for Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9, ushering in the new season with the famous “Ode to Joy” chorus.
