Restaurant Overview

In the restaurant business in New Orleans, you can’t succeed without great cuisine, ambiance and service. The Country Club in the Bywater exceeds expectations on all fronts.

Begin with a cool libation at the grand hardwood and granite bar, then make your way to a table in one of the stunning dining rooms or to the inviting backyard with cabana lounge and pool. If this isn’t paradise, what is?

Heading the culinary team at The Country Club is Chef Chris Barbato, known for modernizing traditional Creole cuisine. Before finding his home in this Bywater kitchen, Chef Chris honed his craft at several Brennan family-owned restaurants.

For brunch, Chef’s offerings include Boudin Boulettes, Beef Debris & Eggs and Chicken and Waffles. For lunch, you might try the Gulf Oyster Salad or the Braised Short Ribs. And for dinner, why not go for the Chateaubriand for Two with a side of Mascarpone Grits or Sweet Potatoes Anna. If you have a second dessert stomach, experience the chicory coffee ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso.

What Not To Miss: The Saturday Drag Brunch and the Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar.
