If you’re looking for something new and different in New Orleans, head to Maison Dupuy this Thursday, October 16. The hotel’s Restaurant, Bistreaux, is hosting its first Sippin' in the Courtyard complete with live music, specialty drinks, and a specialty menu—in the Maison Dupuy’s elegant French Quarter courtyard!
While you’re there we recommend trying the Oh, Delores! This crisp beverage is made with Absolut Rasberri, muddled raspberries, club soda, lemon juice and champagne. If you’re in the mood for something a little fruity, try Sailor Gregg’s Paradise Punch—Sailor Jerry Rum, grenadine, lemon lime, pineapple, and orange, this drink packs plenty of New Orleans punch!
The oyster bar menu is sure to be divine! Whether you want fresh shucked P&J oysters on the half shell or the specialty PEI Mussels with a saffron and blood orange butter sauce served with grilled French bread, your taste buds are sure to be delightfully satisfied.
The event, which offers complimentary parking, begins at 5 p.m. and features the sophisticated sounds of local recording artist YaDonna West. She’s been known to dazzle crowds with her angelic voice while she performs classics from legendary composers such as George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Duke Ellington. You’ll also get to watch local artist Cathy Rose at work as she creates masterpieces in the courtyard. She’ll have some of her latest creations on display.
