Celebrate Reveillion During December
Reveillion is a time honored tradition in New Orleans. The Creole celebration, which began in the mid-1800s, centers around two things we take seriously: family and food. During the Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve celebrations,
families would gather for dinner, where they would dine on extravagant meals including Creole cuisine.
Throughout the years, the tradition has evolved. Now, Reveillion is celebrated nightly with restaurants around the city serving up something special—from traditional menus to contemporary takes on the Creole inspired celebration from December 1 through New Year's Eve
The meals usually range from $45 to $55 per person, however, some high-end restaurants may be more.
Andrea’s Restaurant: This casual, yet elegant, Italian-American restaurant will feature a traditional Reveillion menu from $50 per person. Reservations are recommended.
Antione’s Restaurant: Dating back to 1840, Antione’s has helped New Orleans become one of the best known food capitals of the world. The restaurant will serve a traditional Reveillion menu for beginning at $49 a person.
Arnaurd’s Restaurant: A culinary leader since 1918, Arnaurd’s features legendary Creole cuisine and live music every night. Meals begin at $45.
Bistreaux at Maison Dupuy: This Southern-style inspired features a four course contemporary meal including lamb chops and pan-seared red fish. Menu begins at $49.
Court of Two Sisters: This famous restaurant is known for its jazz brunch. For Reveillion, they’re featuring a traditional four course menu for $45.
Crescent City Brewhouse: Known for its craft beer, the casual restaurant is featuring a five course fine ding experience starting at $45.
Gumbo Shop: Known as one of the best places to get gumbo, this tasty joint is featuring a four course meal with choices like chicken gumbo and crawfish etouffe
The Pelican Club: This French Quarter favorite features a contemporary four course meal with turtle soup and trio of duckling starting at $57.
Restaurant R’evolution: Featuring classic Creole and Cajun dishes, this uniquely blended restaurant will have a four course meal for $70.
Tujague’s: The second oldest restaurant in New Orleans will feature a traditional Reveillion four course meal
