Free Music Fridays offer live music and fun in Mandeville

In New Orleans, the free festivals and events never end. From April 17
through June 5, take a spin across the Causeway to the north shore for
?Free Music Fridays? at the Mandeville Trailhead. The weekly event
features food, music and plenty of fun including children?s
activities, Rock Band competitions and more. The event is FREE and
supported by such sponsors as Best Buy, Miller Lite, Charter
Communications and the New Orleans Hornets.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. every Friday.

Best Buy has teamed up with the Trailhead to accept recyclables at
their tent each Friday! Bring cameras, cell phones, computer
keyboards, mouse(s) to the event, and ask how to recycle larger items
at the store!



Where? Mandeville Trailhead Amphitheater
The newly upgraded, scenic and safe local setting offers all of the
amenities desired for a quality experience for the entire family.
There are now full service concession stands, clean indoor bathrooms,
and safe children's play areas. The terraced grassy area offers
unobstructed sight lines of the built-in performance stage for all
attendees.

What should I bring?
~ Lawn chairs, blankets, cameras, and children are all welcome!
~ NO outside food or drink allowed. Concessions sales keep it free!
~ NO PETS PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT DUE TO THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN.
~ FOOTBALLS & OTHER FLYING OBJECTS MUST BE KEPT IN DESIGNATED AREA
NEAR FOUNTAINS.
