The 2008 Alla Gras Celebration is held in conjuction with the Krewe of Alla...one of the oldest Mardi Gras Krewes in New Orleans.
The event takes place January 27, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the neutral ground of General DeGaulle Drive between Kabel Drive and Parc Fontaine.
The musical line up for the Festival includes Rockin Doopsie, Kermit Ruffin, Pinstripe Brass Band, 101 Indian Runners and more.
Admission is FREE and sponsored by the Algiers Economic Development Foundation...a non-profit organization formulated and supervised by a dynamic and dedicated Board of Directors.
