The Embers "Original" Bourbon House is located at 700 Bourbon Street at St. Peter in the heart of the French Quarter, within walking distance of the Convention Center and all downtown hotels. After a fire destroyed the original building, it was rebuilt in the 1800’s and eventually became a famous restaurant and pub, the Bourbon House. Famous people who frequented the restaurant included Tennessee Williams, William Faulkner and Michael Landon. Today, the Embers continues the tradition and features fresh Louisiana seafood, great steaks, and authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine all served on the largest balcony on Bourbon Street. Our 2nd Floor with the balcony can accommodate up to 225 people for a reception and 85 for a dinner. The entire restaurant can accommodate up to 350 party for a reception. With a spectacular view from the largest balcony in the French Quarter and overlooking the festivities of Bourbon Street, experience the excitement and thrill of a nightly Mardi Gras!
