There’s pizza, then there’s pizza cooked in coal-fired ovens. That’s what you can find at Amici Ristorante & Bar, a restaurant located on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans.
Using coal-fired ovens to cook the pizza creates a different pizza than with traditional ovens. The different cooking methods create crusts with chewy, charred edges. The sauce stays bright and fresh, while cheese gets that perfect pull. It doesn’t hurt that the restaurant uses nothing but quality ingredients and you can taste the difference. The final result is delicious.
Beyond pizza, Amici also creates entrees like Chicken Parmesan (Parmigiana di Pollo), Veal Marsala (Vitello al Marsala) and a variety of pasta dishes.
Amici is the perfect place to get together for lunch or dinner with friends, family or colleagues. You can enjoy one of their specialty pizzas create your own with a mix of their high quality ingredients. Amici is more than just pizza. They also serve a full line of Italian entrees and pasta dishes.
Visit the bar at Amici for your choice of martinis, specialty cocktails, craft beers and more. The restaurant features six big screen televisions, making it the perfect place to watch any game.
Amici is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Reservations are not required, but are suggested.
